Border Area Development Programme (BADP)

The main objective of the BADP is to meet the special developmental needs and well-being of the people living in remote and inaccessible areas situated near the International Boundary (IB) and to provide the border areas with essential infrastructure through a participatory approach in six thematic areas – Basic Infrastructure, Health Infrastructure, Education, Agriculture and Border Area Development Programme (BADP)

Under Developed Areas Programme (UDAP)

The programme primarily aims to provide infrastructure development in the underdeveloped districts of the State. The Infrastructure deficit is a major drawback in the underdeveloped region. The Department has prioritized on projects like maintenance of existing road and various such infrastructural developments with the sole focus on bridging the development gaps.
