The ANGHYA brand was officially launched by the Hon’ble Governor & Hon’ble Chief Minister of Nagaland on 26th January 2019 at Secretariat Complex, Kohima.

DUDA has established Anghya market linkage hub in all the four district headquarters of Eastern Nagaland to maximise the income generation activities in rural areas with the objectives of finding livelihood solution for farmers, entrepreneurs & unemployed youth of Eastern Nagaland. Each hub serves as a collection centre and business centre for products such as The ANGHYA brand was officially launched by the Hon’ble Governor & Hon’ble Chief Minister of Nagaland on 26th January 2019 at Secretariat Complex, Kohima.

Visit of Multi Disciplinary Committee to Eastern Nagaland Areas for Special Development Initiative of Eastern Nagaland Areas on 11th September 2019. The Multi Disciplinary Committee comprising of various Ministers was led by Dr. A. P. Maheshwari, Special Secretary (IS) Ministry of Home Affairs & Chairman Multi-Disciplinary Committee, GOI.

Border Area Development Programme (BADP)

The main objective of the BADP is to meet the special developmental needs and well-being of the people living in remote and inaccessible areas situated near the International Boundary (IB) and to provide the border areas with essential infrastructure through a participatory approach in six thematic areas – Basic Infrastructure, Health Infrastructure, Education, Agriculture and Border Area Development Programme (BADP)

Under Developed Areas Programme (UDAP)

The programme primarily aims to provide infrastructure development in the underdeveloped districts of the State. The Infrastructure deficit is a major drawback in the underdeveloped region. The Department has prioritized on projects like maintenance of existing road and various such infrastructural developments with the sole focus on bridging the development gaps.    

Administrative Set-Up And Manpower

The Chief Minister is the Minister-in-charge of the Department and is assisted by the Advisor, DUDA. The Commissioner & Secretary is the Administrative Head of the Department and is assisted by the Joint Secretary,  Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary & other Ministerial staff. At the Directorate level, the Director is the Head of the Department and Administrative Set-Up And Manpower

Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan Vikas Yojana (PMVDVY)

Activities of Van Dhan Vikas Programme under TRIFED, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, GoI. As an important agenda of the GOI, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA) launched this scheme for value addition, branding and retail marketing of Minor Forest Produces called Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan Yojana (PMVDY) through TRIFED. The scheme is to facilitate creation Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan Vikas Yojana (PMVDVY)
