Hon’ble Chief Minister of Nagaland Shri. Neiphiu Rio inaugurated Zingki Bailey Bridge, Kiphire on 28th April 2023.
The construction of bailey bridge at Zingki river will reduced the distance between Pungro Sub-Division and Kiphire District HQ. by 45 kms and will benefit about 35,000 people living in Pungro and Kiusam Areas and also villages like Mimi, Khongka, Hakumate etc. on the Indo-Myanmar border.
The distance from NH-202 to Zingki Bailey Bridge is approximately 3.4 kms connecting the nearby Villages like Tǘtheze, Pungren, New Vongti, Pungro Village and Likimro Hydro Project.
This bailey bridge was constructed under BADP during 2018-to-2023 under DUDA.
