Follow up of the 24 female trainees at Tabitha Craft (2013 and 2014 batch)

Out of the 24 trainees, 14 could be contacted and there is a positive response from all of them. Most of them are getting orders and stitching. One is full time stitching and selling. Some are earning from repairing of second hand clothes. Along with their earnings, some are into business which keeps the family going.

  1. Chongtin is in Dimapur Resource Centre, helping out at the Tabitha craft at the
    same time assisting the preschool. She is becoming more refined in her work.
  2. Chingyah is stitching summer wears and selling. She is also into Kitchen
    accessories which provides good earning. At the same time she also gets orders
    from people.
  3. Lisepila is teaching in a school but she also stitches and sell after school hours.
  4. Longlangla stitches and sells dresses.
  5. Tsuyimla also stitches and repairs clothes but is not into full time stitching.
  6. Chongkim is looking after a shop at the same time stitching clothes. She is
    happy with the daily earning.
  7. Nati is also into stitching
  8. Betilepla looks after a pharmacy at the same time stitches.
  9. Monghshai stitches and sells bag, and kitchen accessories.
  10. Chumei is also into stitching and doing small time business.
  11. Yashi is running a hotel and at the same time stitching
  12. Ridila went for beautician training again but found stitching a better
    profession.
  13. Alem also stitches and sells her products.
  14. Along is into stitching and business.

Around ten girls could not be contacted due to change of numbers or poor network. However the training has a great impact upon their lives.
