In line with the Government of India (GoI) policy on IT for Masses under the Digital India and manpower development plan scheme; DUDA, in collaboration with National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Kohima is empowering the youths and women of eastern Nagaland through ICT skill training. DUDA in association with NIELIT have set up four Computer Training Centres in Tuensang, Mon, Longleng and Kiphire District Headquarters with all equipment& teaching facilities with a target set to train 1280 (one thousand two hundred eighty) people of ENPO region.

The DUDA has highlighted the need to upgrade the training to Diploma level and the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, G.o.I. agreed to the proposal and suggestion.
